No one knows, but I'd be surprised to see very many CRJs feeding a fleet of a couple dozen 717s. Skywest may go the way of Skyway as far as Milwaukee is concerned.

Or the CRJs will takeover some "mainline" '80 flying. Management will tout it as "3x daily service" instead of sending 1 '80/day...

Tough to be at any airline right now...

The CRJ's can not do some of the -80 routes, such as SEA, SFO, LAX, LAS. Heck, the 717 can't even do those routes

Especially with a d0uche like Tim at the helm.

Really? No news source has yet to state that SkyWest will be losing any flying for Midwest Connect. Might have something to do with having a contract.

The contract is for 15 aircraft, with the option of up to 10 more. Currently running 21. Take two away and that makes 19. Still 4 more than the minimum on the contract.

Also, I know SkyWest has at least one generic livery outfitted with ovens for the cookies, there may be two. If that is the case, those one or two aircraft can be used for Delta or United lines.

Believe it or not, the CRJ can actually do some routes that the 717 can't do. The 717 just wasn't designed for legs longer than 3 hours block. The CRJ can do 4+ hours on the LR model. Not sure about the ER.

Any airline started by the company that makes kleenex and kotex is bound to end in blood and tears.
