what the he** are you talkin about? ive only been here 6 months or so but so far i love airtran. yeah ta2 sux but other than that it is pretty damn good. i jumpseat alot since im a commuter and pilots from every other airline say the same shi*. if you were a commuter guy it sounds like you forgot your roots. go and chase that greener grass. just go work at another airline or a 9-5 job and ill upgrade faster. i love negative people, they make me feel all warm inside.

You are the problem not the solution. Go back to coloring, the big boys will call you when they're done getting you an industry standard wage.

well if you guys dont get yourselves an industry standard contract vs a concessionary contract you'll be left holding the bag for years as everyone passes you up. The grass wont be greener, but the cash certainly will be.
You act as if you know anything about what it's like here. I won't presume to tell you how bad things are at Midwest, so maybe you should refrain from talking about how things are here at AirTran.
Funnyman12 may be drinking the kool-aid a little bit, but he's not really wrong either. Yeah, the TA sucks, and it's complete BS that Lear70 got fired, but this is still a pretty good place to work. The absolute worst day at this company on reserve is far better than the very best day at a regional as a line-holder. My schedules are better than what my friends at the legacies are getting. The crews are all great to fly with. If we vote down this TA and get something better, including getting Lear and DL their jobs back, then this will be a really good place to spend a career.

uh it was someone AT airtran who commented on the conditions there, not me. i simply said anythings better than colgan (ok not mesa but you get the point).
I've not flown yet with a female pilot at A/T believe it or not.no women at tranny? i don't beleave that.

Isn't this the place to stir the pot. Man you guys are defensive. Things could be a lot better here if we would stick to our guns. Why are so many people content. Who are those on this board that defend this company knowing how bad they treat the labor? Total doorknobs...Britpilot is just one of the many who accept, perhaps even come to enjoy the persistent a$$ pounding delt out by this place.

One problem we have is most of our pilots come from really s##tty regionals and have never actually had a job where they were treated like a professional; or they come from the military and have nothing to reference this job too.
True, we get treated better here at AAI than at MOST regionals, but should that be our standard? QOL here is nothing like it SHOULD be.
Just because it's "way better than the regional I was at" doesn't mean it's any good....
and yes, I AM thankfull to have a job here. I just wish I could have a CAREER here.

Actually I thought BD's website was the place to stir the pot. Why don't you copy or paste your first post that started this thread there so we can all know your name or at the very least your employee number just so's we are all very clear about your intentions.

Come work for my company. I work for a Fortune 500 flight dept who hired a 250 hr punk 8 months prior to me coming on. Baby Boy was hired because his inlaws are incahoots with the big boss of my company.
This punk who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, married into another silver spoon, and has a wife who is a corporate attorney with our organization.
With all of the pull he has, this kid has now done some major political backstabbing, talked crap to the senior execs, and has had my Chief Pilot demoted. A man who has been with the company for 23 years!!! Not to mention, a man who is a great pilot, friend, and is well loved by all.
Guess who the new man in charge is? Yep, "Little Baby" is running the show, but it's ok because he has nearly 2000 hrs now.
Dont tell me you guys have it bad!!!
