I'm not gloating about anything. I think it would be horrible for you guys to lose your jobs. The only people I want to see lose their jobs work at non-union carriers. I thought an AAI/MEH merger would have been best for both of us, but cest la vie. But I think you're crazy if you really believe that NWA is going to merge you guys into the mainline list. Sorry, but I dealt with the Red Tailed Monster for long enough to know how these people operate. As we speak, these management goons are dreaming up some convoluted new whipsaw. They have no intention to merge you into the mainline and treat you as part of the family. You're just another chess piece to be moved around to maximize their ego gratification.
Why would you want to see anyone lose their job, you are just another angry lib.

Angry lib? I voted twice for Dubya, and I'm not angry.

I'm not taking my gloves off. Its like -4 outside.

Tim is the bad guy here, but AAI would have dumped Skyway too, they were in a lose lose situation.

...but the AAI plan absorbed the Skyway employees.

All the other Midwest employees who work at the airport ought too look back a few years and get ready. I expect they will receive an offer letter from Skyway in the near future...along with a layoff letter from Midwest.

Let me ask you something, have you ever had your job ripped out from under you? Jerk

I say I don't want them to lose their jobs, and that makes me a jerk? Oookaaay.

in PCL's defense, he is not one of the "i told you so" guys.
Thanks, CL. For what it's worth, I was one of the guys that supported a DOH integration if we merged, which would have negatively affected my own seniority. I have nothing against the MEH pilots, and I hope things turn out well for you. But my personal experiences with the scumbags in NWA management lead me to be pessimistic.
