Wrong, the MEH MEC rescinded their support for the stand alone plan last summer. Who does AAI want to hurt? The Company or the employees? What would Tim H care if a 20 year 80 Captain was stapled to the bottom of a 3yr 328 captain. For some reason I get the impression there is a lot of open glue containers around your computer.

Fine. Just in the nick of time, too. Cause Tim played you guys like a fiddle and tossed you aside after he got what he needed.

My point was, it would be in AAI's best interest to hire a bunch of Skyway guys and staple Midwest. I would think it would create a good deal of turnover, even more if everyone became ATL based. It would be an opportunity to cut labor costs.

And really, look at one of your own and his posts about NW in all of this. DOH? Raise? Hahahahahahaha!

Neither am I. But you do seem to be on some sort of strange NWA/MEH cocktail koolaid.

a cocktail that has hope that i do not lose my job. something you trannies seem to gloat about in your continuous onsloats of "i told you so's". now that it is clear they are going to try and eliminate us, now the gloves can really come off. expect more anti-tran rhetoric.

I love how people keep thinking this is so personnel. I am sure Tim is out to destroy every SkyWay pilot. I am sure that If a midex 17 guy went to the job fair Airtran would do the economically stupid thing and not hire them. I am sure the the AirTran union would staple every Midwest pilot. You people are hilarious.

This is about money people. Northwest got in bed with TPG for: Feed out of MKE, Back yard defense against LLC's, and possibly a replacement aircraft in the 717 (rumor coming out of NW training dept). MEH had a horrible fourth quarter and had to accelerate the phase out of SkyWay. Airtran is competing in MKE for Profit not to hold something over TH's head. If the DOJ will not approve a buyout of the insignificance of MEH/TPG/NW there will be no mergers anywhere in our industry.

Give me a break people. This industry is not the Kennedy assassination. It all makes sense if you follow the money.

the MEC did this and their political ploy has put their butts on the line, but our MEC's actions DID NOTHING to stop or prevent air tran's buyout. THEY LOST A BIDDING war to TPG fueled by NWA. get over it.

Tim is the bad guy here, but AAI would have dumped Skyway too, they were in a lose lose situation.

You laugh about the "raise" comment, but any integration / merger for NWA opens them up to Section 6. Why the f@#$ do you think they ONLY bought 47%? The want to extend this concessionary contract for as long as possible. I fully expect ALL majors (and FULLY support their efforts AS SHOULD YOU) to try to regain much that was lost in the aftermath of 9/11.

You forgot Dash about some of the comments in August about AAI's more "advanced" techniques of flying the 717. You know that pushing of the appr/land button, monitoring, and knowing some regulations is an "advanced" technique. So we're unqualified to some of them, but our "advanced" training is coming this year. But hey, do they have to know what "fetch" is (that is our "advanced" knowledge)? All I know is porn directs our training and that's pretty cool.

Let's get back to what is important now! Dana Jacobsen being suspended from ESPN's First Take for saying "F@#$ Notre Dame" at the Mike and Mike roast. That's controversial.

I'm not gloating about anything. I think it would be horrible for you guys to lose your jobs. The only people I want to see lose their jobs work at non-union carriers. I thought an AAI/MEH merger would have been best for both of us, but cest la vie. But I think you're crazy if you really believe that NWA is going to merge you guys into the mainline list. Sorry, but I dealt with the Red Tailed Monster for long enough to know how these people operate. As we speak, these management goons are dreaming up some convoluted new whipsaw. They have no intention to merge you into the mainline and treat you as part of the family. You're just another chess piece to be moved around to maximize their ego gratification.

The gloves are really coming off?!? Man you are too funny! DOH all the way baby!!
