Btw why does everyone care so much about this flying and that few planes frontier are trying to get.

The Delta RFP was for about 150 planes thats the big news. I have a feeling 2 airlines out west are going to be pretty happy next month

Do you think then the 2 airlines you are talking about will realize how large of a problem they are? I don't think so either, I actually think people will still flock to one of the airlines in question and even go as far as calling it "the best regional" as if there is such a thing.

(And if there was such a thing as best regional airline, 1 payrate for 3 airplanes might be a disqualifing factor... Oh wait I forgot about the short upgrade time:confused: )

Regionals are about getting to the majors, Money is not the issue when you fly a 50 - 70 pax RJ. If you are at a regional for more than 5 years then there is a problem. I should know it took me 6 years to get to CAL that is 3 to many IMO

Two reasons why I don't give a crap about the Delta flying:

First one is most of that flying is taking someone elses job, and I don't like that.

Second one is who the hell wants to fly for Delta?

I care about the Midwest flying because I actually respect the company, and its adding airplanes not taking someones job.

Who gets the flying?

All I can add, as a Skyway employee, is that word around the building is that our ground support folks told us that we bought pushback equipment (towbars, etc) for CRJ's for use by us in MKE. Doesn't help much, but it feeds the rumors of a CRJ operator getting the flying. Let the guessing continue!
Personally, I think we're going to buy all the old SR-71's and start new nonstop Muskegon-London service starting in January.

I dunno why all of you argue with SuperKooter. He's a high school sophomore that just loves to see you guys get all antsy in your pantsy.
