I was furloughed from Midwest on Nov. 1, 2001... resigned my seniority in March 2003 to take a much better job.
Just yesterday, their V.P. of HR sent me a questionnaire asking why I left. The letter stated that they're experiencing unnaceptable turnover and disruptions in their customer service.
This is a company that, in my personal experience, would never, in a million years, solicit employees' help or opinions. Something strange must be going on, but I can only speculate. They're very secretive.

The message, on USAir Express letterhead, stated: Congratulations on successfully bidding the position of FURLOUGHED. If any training is required to complete the transition to your new position, you will be contacted by the training department. blah, blah, blah.
