This is a non-seniority intermittent position. Residency in Atlanta preferred.
Flight Instructor conduct training for pilots to prepare them for line flying.
· Flight Instruction will be accomplished using Avionics Systems Trainers (AST), Cockpit Procedures Trainers (CPT), Fixed Based Trainers (FBT) or Full Motion Simulators (FMS) in the following courses: Upgrade, Initial, Differences, Transition.
Job Qualifications:
Airline Transport Pilot certificate required. Previous part 121 flight instruction or check airman experience required (minimum of 2 years experience preferred). Part 121 Captain experience and DC9 Type Rating along with line experience in the DC9, MD80 or 717 is preferred. Four-year college degree is also preferred. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
