who is midatlantic airways? and do they have a web site? i see this airline being talked about alot but can not find them on the web or the usairways website.

It's the "soft landing" for Airways furloughs. They will be flying the R/J's for American Eagle wages. Supposed to start flying sometime in the 3rd quarter of this year.

What are the Eagle contract rules and wages anyway.. Do they get Xcellation pay and Block or better?

MidAtlanitc is a new regional that will be flying the EMB 170 and 175 aircraft with first delievery in Novemeber of 03. It will be 100 percent staffed by furloughed mainline pilots. Staffing after intial start up and IF they go back to mainline will be from the 3 wholly owned.

Midatlantic rates are the 02 Eagle rates with 3 percent increase (I think) per year with no triggers.
