Michael vick smuggled weed last year at MIA Intl

I was just watching Saturday night live and it was an old episode making fun of Mickael Vick for trying to smuggle weed in a hidden compartment of a water bottle at the Miami airport (last year). I remembered a football player doing this but didn't remember it was Vick.

Did the Miami prosecutors drop these charges or something? I hate how these celebs always have charges dropped or reduced. And why hasn't the media brought this up now that he is having his second criminal offense within a year?

I believe that they didn't find any weed, but they may have found some residue in the compartment.

Either way they decided not to pursue charges. (I'm not even sure if it is a felony in Miami)

Why should they bring it up? He is in some serious S@#t now.

If you're into smuggling weed, passing herpes, fighting and killing dogs, fly ValueTran.

328 dude...thanks for the link.

I've heard his plea bargain is a sweetheart deal. The news said he doesn't even have to admit to gambling or participating in the killing of dogs.

He will lose most of his endorsement deals but I'll bet he will be back playing football next season.

....

You can never really pull some of these professional athletes out of the ghetto/trailor park/section 8 housing.

Combine that mentality with $100 million bucks, etc.

What a bunch of crap sacks.

And I'll bet he isn't back playing football next season. First of all, the judge handling this case is know for not agreeing to negotiated plea bargains and has a reputation for handing out maximum sentences.

Second, the NFL Comissioner, Roger Goodell, is coming down hard on any player who tarnishes the image of the NFL. He just recently told a Bengals linebacker that his suspension is still on...for yet another year !!!

This NFL Comissioner has handed out more suspensions for behavior issues than any other NFL Commisioner in history.

This is the first "Indefinite" suspension that he has handed out. Vick has got a long way to go to get back into the NFL.

Remember in April, Vick told the NFL Commissioner to his face that he was not involved in any way, shape or form in dog fighting...now he is.

Commissioner Goodell is/has traveled to all the NFL training camps to spread his message....that it is a "Privledge to play in the NFL...not a right.

HAving said that....it was Bill Parcells who said, "In this league, if Charles Manson coupld play football, he'd be on someone's team." But that was said when someone else was the commissioner.

If ( big "if") Vick does play again...guaranteed it won't be for the Falcons.

I didn't realize it was only residue in the fake compartment of the water bottle. It looks like you are correct.

He says he used the fake compartment to transport money and jewelry. Yeah =). The safest place for money and jewelry is in a half empty water bottle that you carry around.

In addition, Vick's 130 million dollar contract is now null and void with this indefinite suspension...and the Falcons are going after the 22 million signing bonus he got.

In light of the fact that he will only plead guilty to "Conspiracy" to transport dogs across state liines for the purpose of dogfighting...now the state is contemplating filiing charges for gambling and torturing animals.

Michael Vick has much bigger problems than worrying if he will ever play football again.

....

I watched the video today of Vick speaking to the reporters.

I love how he said he had "found Jesus", and had to start living in that direction from now one...!

Vick, Jesus hates you. You killed somewhere in the vicinity of 6 to 9 of his creatures!

"found Jesus"...!

What a load of crap!!!!!!!

Yeah, but at least his herpes will act as a "missile defense shield" of sorts. He does have that goin' for him.
