How many of you up there bashing Moore can honestly say you've seen the movie "Bowling for Colombine"? Or any other of his works?

Why does Moore scare you so much that you feel the need to publicly slander him?
If he's truly the liar you profess, then the general public must already know that. Why would you feel the need to put this out, especially on an AVIATION FORUM?

Or maybe the truth just cuts the the core of your mindless conservative agenda.

Think outside the box, and think for yourself, not what the Conservative Right (Limbaugh, etc) tell you to think.

Overload .... overload. Recompute the conservative subroutine. Someone has challeneged our conservative programming. Connect to Fox News, WSJ or Rush to download patch and anti-critical-thinking software in order to resume conservative programming. Disregard Publisher's post. It contains a liberal virus. Restart your minds after download to resume conservative programming.

OK, I see......ignore a well-thought-out and thorough post (with cites) detailing Moore's fast and loose relationship with the truth in order to spout some drivel about right-wing robots.

It seems that the left-wing robots are more loyal than the right-wing ones. Or at least they obey orders better, like good little automatons should.

CatYaaak, bart,

CatYaaak, i disagree that censorship can only come from the government. my dictionary defines a censor as "a person authorized to review books, letters, films, etc., to remove any material deemed 'harmful...' "

If you talk about censorship in the context of "free speech", then you are indeed only talking about the government and it's power to punish an individual for their opinions. To try and extrapolate this "right"into meaning private (non-government entities) businesses and/or individuals must provide someone a medium to excercise this freedom is silly. Michael Moore can whine about someone not funding his little half-witted diatribes, but to claim he's the victim of ""censorship"is ludicrous to the extreme. He just wants a free ride, but nobody is stopping him from doing or saying anything, and that includes spending his own money to get his message out if he feels so strongly about it.

It's predictable that if someone decides not to produce his garbage he'll claim some kind of persecution. He himself probably doesn't even understand why he's so off base, because it's clear he's not very intelligent or insightful, and his product merely panders to those like him who mistake his sanctimonious bleating for healthy "social commentary". He's just another anti-capitalist bore, not to mention a first-class hypocrite by depending on a big corporation's money.

Of course, if you agree with Moore's take his so-called free speech, then you would also agree if I took a stance that claimed my 2nd Amendment rights are being infringed because Smith and Wesson doesn't provide me with free weapons any time I decide I want one. There's no difference.
