MIA or FLL commute / parking?

I live between MIA and FLL. Given the choice, and I can only chose 1 for homebasing, which is the better airport to use?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on free hotel parking lots to use near MIA or FLL?

What about that commuter train? Goes right to KMIA. It may go to KFLL as well. Park at the train station parking lot?

tri-rail.. tri-rail.. tri-rail.. free parking, free shuttle to the airport.. the griffin road parking lot does get full (FLL) in case that happens you can take the train to the next lot (sheridan street) there is no shuttle to FLL from sheridan... MIA airport is a better deal. FLL can be a nightmare sometimes... plus, if you like latin women MIA is the place to be.. how about employee parking? I live in fort ladeda, but the tril-rail is cheaper and better for the economy..

Don't know of any free parking around MIA or FLL, both have employee parking. I hear FLL is right across from terminal 1.
