Just got back from a trip to MGGT, Guatemala City. Smoke from forest fires plus smog resulted in about 1 mile viz. VOR MAP is 1 mile from runway by the way.
Add in the VOR RWY 19 approach which resulted in hotel room occupants waving at us as we zipped by at MDA, added fun to the day.
Landing on the runway with the built-in skateboard jump ramp (???!!! WTF over) also keep things interesting.
one of my more "interesting" airports, if I don't go back thats fine by me
