Now dat's some wind!
 
I was stuck in Vero Beach for hurricane Francis and Jean. During Francis we were listening to the atis for awhile hoping to see some wild numbers. After it got up into the seventies the wind was "missing". I'm guessing that part of the AWOS system was missing. Most likely hit by a flying tree.

Anyway suprised to see the AWOS was holding up to the 83 knot gusts.
