Are there message boards for A&Ps similar to this? I have been looking for a single A&P for last two months with no luck. Tried climbto350 , craigslist and some other similar sites. In this day and age of economical slowdown it's amazing not being able to find a single A&P for my flight school.

Thanks..

You can try the few listed below. My experience has been that the maintenance community doesn't spend nearly the time socializing and surfing the web that the pilot community does...and accordingly there's generally less participation on the maintenance sites.

AMT's are in demand. Where are you located and what are you paying?

For a flight school, unless you can find someone localwho wants regular job, your best bet may be AMT students who are graduating.

Exactly, what are you paying, benefits, type aircraft, enough work to stay busy year round, location, ability to bring in outside aircraft, would be some questions that I have.

Why does he have to be single (IE unattached, un-married not engaged) to be qualified to work at your school? If you maybe broaden your horizons you can find plenty of married, engaged A&Ps.

Aaah, I don't think the original poster was asking for an unmarried mechanic. He was stating that he is unable to find any (as in not one, not a single mechanic) to work at his flight school.

Is he looking for a message board or is he looking for a job listing.... um, just looking around, I think that THIS is a message board. (use to be one of the best)

Flight schools usually mean low pay and no bennies when compared to airline jobs. even the worst regional job still (if you can get on one) have flight bennies

If Rally honestly asked that question (for his sake, I hope he didn't), I hope to never get in an airplane with him. That and judging by the questions in his other posts.

Sorry Rally.

Rally, I hear TSA has some open positions where you can wear an authentic looking police badge. You get to scare and intimidate passengers and annoy the pilots.
