Mesa's new Hawaii Start up is rumored to be called "Go Hawaii" Is it just me or does this name remind anybody of a well known alter ego union busting carrier?

The website that has been registered to Mesa is www.iflygo.com Right now it is password protected, any good crackers out there think they can post the password up here to give us more flamebait?

WTF is up with iflygo?

Is this a dark hint as to what we should expect?

A kooks attempt at pidgin to da max?

A freudian slip to JO's Yahoo! nemesis? iflyaloha?

Somebody throw me a frickin bone here!!!

Presently, the domicile awards have already been posted and there will be 100% Mesa pilots (ALPA) flying the jets. IF this ever happens at all. DISCLAIMER: Pilot group subject to change...Anything is possible when JO is involved.

maybe the planes are coming from Indy Air

supposedly from his own admission, he couldnt get those airplanes as cheap as he was bragging to everybody. Apparently the Canadians arent ready for the going price on used CL65's to drop to the Cessna Caravan range.

HAHAHA Jonathan, maybe get some used Japanese YS-11's?

I can't imagine living in HI on a Mesa pay check. A freakin gallon of milk costs $6!!! I guess they will just put some extra cots in the crew room.

6 bux? thats a deal.. where did you find that? its 7-something at the local store i shop at. you just gotta steal a lot of extra cream packets from burger king.

gas is near 3 dollars so more and more pilots are moving their cars closer to the airport. i've already picked out a sweet spot right at the airport. not too much noise so you can get some sleep at nite.

6 bucks was at the Navy commisary the other day so I guess that is discounted a bit. I'm just in town (Pearl Harbor) for a couple of weeks doing my annual 2 week Navy Reserve thing. Could be in worse places I guess :-)

Does it have a view of the water?

And how can you possibly sleep at night with AQ cargo blasting around?

ACA's are up for $15,000 per month lease.

That is cheap and is offered by GECAS.........

I still do not think Hawaii will ever happen with Mesa, unless they get the codeshare they wish with Usair,UAL and Delta.

It will be a reverse codeshare, not an Express operation.(no issue with scope)

If those 3 buy 75% of the capacity of the seats available, then and only then it will happen.

Ual's contract with Hawaiian is up in March, isn't it?

One of the things that you guys don't seem to be getting is that code-shares in Hawaii are becoming absolutely worthless. All of the expansion done by the major's to Hawaii has been to the outer islands (ie LIH, KOA, OGG, etc.) A code share to places like LNY, MKK, and maybe ITO might draw customers, but not enough that it would make or break an airline like Mesa. Mesa's business plan in Hawaii is a loser, and they will fall flat on their face with, or without a codeshare.
