let's see mesalounge is pretty much anti-AH and the current MEC leadership. this month our union is holding elections for LEC leaders who will elect a new MEC leadership team. mesalounge has been down for some time now. after all perhaps his buddy the TSA MEC Chair (who owns mesalounge) wants him to stay. maybe it will be up after the elections?

I believe it has something to do with lawsuits against posters by the company.

THere has been a recent trend of management pilots reading the Mesalounge, identifying people who post, confronting them via carpet dance or telephone, and threatening their jobs. I know of this first hand.

I didn't.

Immeadiately, I contacted the Union. They heard my case, anonymous site, nothing specific mentioned. An LEC rep was to accompany me to this carpet dance, but it was nipped in the bud before it got that far.

Our system chief pilot, who happens to be a great CP, took care of notifying the regional chief in question that such behavior was unacceptable. This particular case ended there.

As for your question though, the juvinile bullcrap that goes on behind managements closed doors is abundant. Here, we can never assume that a tactic or policy is too sophmoric or inappropriate. Thats how it is here. The company as a whole is run by JO and a bunch of children. What are we to do, stage a coup, ransack the cristal palace and write anti management slogans with feces on the walls? As much gratification as this would bring to many, things will remain the same until regime change happens.

If anything, I'd be that AH is behind the lawsuit. He is VERY hated on that board, and throughout a lot of the pilot group for that matter.
