Anybody at mesaba know how many more NW has on order besides the originally granted 15? Or do you think they'll do the same stupid thing they did with the Avro"?

I believe NWA has 175 or so on option. They excercised 15 for Mesaba and allocated another 20 options for Mesaba if/when NWA decides to excercise those.



I think what quack was referring to was when we got the Avro, NWA gave us 16? at first then came back to us and said if u want the next 20, u gotta take concessions.

I hope this time around if/when NWA/XJ management comes to us asking for concessions for the next 20 CRJs, we tell 'em to shove it up their arse.

Don't exactly know what you mean about what they did with the Avro's, but part of the agreement was that XJ is guaranteed the next 20 CRJ's, if NWA excercises their options that is.

Maybe the stupid thing was to have the first 69 seat RJ in the industry, and the only one with first class. Stupid.
