I'm interested in working for Mesaba and was wondering how the whole interview process works. Is there a phone interview first? If so, what type of questions do they ask? Also, what type of sim do they use during the interview? Thanks to all for any info!

No phone interview. Just send in your resume and coverletter and wait for them to call with an interview date. They will fly you in from the closest city NWA serves (could be on Pinnacle or Mesaba) to MSP. Sim eval has been done in the Avro (no longer possible) and Saab (highly unlikely since they are having to rent time in STL for all the training going on) sim. During previous times like this they have broken out the old (like maybe 1970 vintage) tabletop flight trainer. Only advice I can give with that is just fly it with your fingertips.
Good Luck.

The Mesaba interview is pretty relaxed compared to others. Try to enjoy yourself, don't dis the Saab, and don't be negative towards any particular group of people (don't be blatantly un-PC), and you'll do fine.

I want to bid MSP and hate Lutherans, is there going to be a problem?
