Ok, I know they've been interviewing a hand full each month,

Is anyone familiar with the sim profile that you have to go through during the interview? (i.e. approaches, holds, partial panel)

If someone can give a quick overview.. and also rank it 1 - 10 on your personal difficulty level.

Thanks everybody!

Yeah, Almost all is done partial panel and don't forget to bring your own foggles since they don't want you to cheat and look at the visuals. A few guys in the last interview group got sent home for not bringing foggles/hood. Good luck!

No, he is just being a dick. Apparently he gets his rocks off messing around with potential interviewees.

Most current XJ pilots have no idea what the profile is because it is brand new. They just started using an ATC-610 a few months ago. Best bet is to go to aviationinterviews.com and see if you can find something or see if a recent interviewee can post here.

Be able to fly instruments. If hired, you will have to fly in the right seat of a turbo prop for many years in the worst winter weather in the country.

XJ just purchased a ATC 610. Applicants were having a difficult time flying the AVRO or SAAB sim. There are over 20 profiles that they use for the sim evaluation. Getting the gouge can be a bad thing. They may change the profile between you and the previous dude. You can expect a NDB hold with a fixed card for sure. Just go in with an open mind and do your best!!!!!
