hey wing fan, do not stop posting, good to hear from others on the board, I was just saying here is the lastest.....I hear, I do not post rumors that are not from credible places.........here is another thats very credible...(I saw the company email...) Joe R will be taking the DFO position in a week or so (7th) replacing RJ who will be taking on other responsibilities.......what ever they are. I did not mean to offend you Wingfan....sorry

Goose, let then know in the interview that you would like to fly the saab. The newest vacancy calls for 20+ saab fo's. The saab should get you in the door faster (senority) and QOL should be better for the near future. cya

Sounds good. Applied on friday, still waiting to hear back.

Thanks for the new info xjhawk, that is great news that JR is coming back. RJs been good to me also so I'm glad he may be sticking around.

RJ... after his comments to the returning furloughs... lost any respect he had... He put himself in the "captain ed 'doushe' bag" club. (yes I know it's not spelled that way)

What did he say that caused you to lose respect? I have seen several of RJ's presentations during RGS /UGS and he has always been tactful and diplomatic and very receptive to input.

If hired as a DTW based Saab FO, how long can you expect to be on reserve? Also, once off reserve would commuting between FWA and DTW be feasible? Airlink has 5 flights a day between the two. Thanks.

There are a couple of people that I know working at XJ from the FWA area. Most of the time they were just driving up and avoiding the jumpseat issues.

Can anyone post a typical (as in junior to mid seniority FO) DTW and/or MSP Saab line?

Just trying to get an idea of what one might expect.

Thanks!

I would have to agree...

when asked if we would get more CRJ's his response was "It depends on how well we please our new masters."

What is the junior saab base.

Things are moving so fast you'll probably get your pick of all three before you get out of training.

DTW and MEM are the most junior, the latest vacancy was 9 dtw and 11 mem so it's your pick.

Worst case MSP will take waiting for a few classes to get behind you (1-2 months).
