From Yahoo News:

The delayed payments included $19 million owed to Northwest regional partner Mesaba Aviation Inc., which gets its aircraft and schedule from Northwest and operates under the Northwest Airlink brand. A filing by Mesaba parent MAIR Holdings, Inc. said Northwest has until Sept. 20 to make the payment or "Mesaba may exercise available remedies against Northwest."

So, what are the avialable remedies?

Who is first in line to go pick up a 747? That better not go to reserve pilots!

First off, how many times are you gonna repost the same article.

Second. Since Mesaba is a wholly owned of NWA, its nothing more than money on paper, a shell game , a shill.

Third. Kinda amazing that NWA "forgets" to pay since the doom and gloom masters are about to declare bankruptcy.

Since when has Mesaba been wholly owned by Northwest? Did this happen over the weekend during my days off? Where did NWA get the cash?

Highly doubt that Mesaba is wholly owned.

This was the first post about it on here today, douchebag.

Dirty Sanchez: I dig the screen name!! Nice....

Pohlad and his good ol' boys of the Minnesota country club are celebrating the bankruptcy with wine and cheese at some undisclosed location, and most importantly giving each other million dollar bonuses, congratulating them on a great job through these turbulent times.

Hell can Pohlad even eat cheese, at his age he better stick with prunes. What is he now 107 yrs old?

I think the point was that Pohlad and NWA are the majority share holders. Since the majority rules, you can figure out who they are looking out for. When NWA and Pohlad sell their shares, then you can panic. Until then, it's just a smoke and mirror game aimed at raping us with vasoline and sand. After NWA files for chapter 11 they will remove the vasoline and just use the sand. The bottom line is that Spanjier's can't tie his shoes without NWA approval. Do you really think that he is standing up to NWA and making a threat? NWA probably wrote the letter that Spanjiers sent out to Mesaba.

Yes I will admit that "wholly owned" was a poor choice of words. But that still doesn't change the fact that NWA & the Polhad cronies still control Mesaba.
