Ah, the legendary Bob Hoover! Gotta love it!

Bob always emphasized (as seen in the videos) that the barrel roll is a basic one-G maneuver that can be done in any aircraft.

Try doing it sometime with pax aboard!

Some of you may recall that Tex Johnson rolled the first demo 707 over Lake Washington to impress some customers (that video is somewhere on YouTube as well), but almost gave Bill Boeing a coronary, and Mr. B later called Tex into his office and gave him one of those don't-ever-do-that-again speeches.

Yeah, but Tex sold a lot of 707s by rolling it.

The moral of the story here is that you will make more money if you roll over J.O.'s daughter.....

don't sweat it! if you guys will just vote in ALPA, they will protect you from stuff like this!!!

.......oh, wait.........

You don't get it. JO treats his employees poorly because that's how he runs his business. ALPA doesn't run the business. It just allows the pilots to have a voice. Being in a union doesn't protect you from bad management. If Mesa had some BS association like we do - JO would trample all over those guys even more than he does now.

This has no bearing on how ALPA would work at Skywest. Instead of always focusing on poorly run airlines as an excuse for your anti-ALPA campaign ( let's face it you post a lot of anti-ALPA stuff on here, so it's fair to say you are campaigning), why don't you take a look at ExpressJet, Horizon, or even FEDEX or CAL. These are a better comparison to Skywest because you take what a well run company (IE Skywest) could do in conjunction with ALPA and look at how well the system works for their pilots.
Oh and by the way skynation, a lot of the things we have right now at Skywest are only because ALPA has negotiated them for other carriers - including the right to be in the CASS program (do you commute?). If it wasn't for ALPA offline jumpseating would probably not exist anymore (just my opinion).
You have even admitted on other threads that you don't know what the answer is, but then you come on here and constantly criticise what other people think the answer might be. How about a few original thoughts of your own?

And now back to bashing mesa....

But you get to fly a JET! Oh wait a minute, I remember you. You've been around there a while. Haven't you escaped the purple army yet?

Well, in any case my remark goes to the "with you" people on the radio.

ALPO and all the unions are useless now days. Anyone that thinks different is drinking union koolaid.

Next time you ride in the jumpseat you ask yourself, why did the TSA allow you to start doing that again after 9/11? Was it due to their benevolence and love of airline pilots? Because we all know how well they treat us at the security checkpoints. And if you believe it was due to their respect for airline pilots, then YOU are drinking the koolaid.
