Absolutely amazing. You piss and moan about Mesa, and now, when they are trying to make life for them better and raise the bar, you piss and moan about that.

I sure hope you are not a pilot. I'd be very disappointed if you were because it's this type of lack of unity as a profession that KILLS us!

Non-contract compliance. It's bad enough that JO has one of the most cost-effective contracts in the industry and he can't even comply with it. To top it off, he wants a two year extension and the ability to put narrow bodies on for substandard wages.

We gave dearly to get scope and seize the Freedom flying. We're done giving. We could sure use the help of the other pilot groups instead of smart-ass comments that you posted.

200 signs being printed-

Mommy and Daddy, Please don't quit sending money. I'll keep sending pictures of myself in my costume.

How about "We started by screwing ourselves and ended up screwing the whole industry!" All jest aside, the chance has come for the Mesa group to at least partially pay for their sins. Best of luck in your compliance efforts and I hope you guys stick it to that a$$hole JO.

I give you my whole hearted support!

Are you kidding me? You're not trying to raise the bar, you're attempting to get that idiot JO to comply with the sub-par contract that, IIRC, your pilot group approved. Raising the bar would have been holding out for better back when you were in contract talks.

To all Mesa bashers:
As being involved in my second airline that has had the mesa contract thrown on the negotiating table for concessions, I am just as pissed off about the rest of the industry at these guys who ovted yes. That aside< I think it is time to put up or shut up, we need to support these guys to get a decent contract and let the public know what an unethical, seething, greedy sob that JO is with his 15 motorcycles. We all know no that our future contracts absolutely depend on it. So this is the time to stop bitching about them and help (isn't that what a union is at its core level)
Mesa Pilots: I would be happy to supprt your cause. throw out some stickers, and i will post them on my crew bag, flight bag, O Hare, cockpit door, forehead, etc. etc. the industry is watching. Raise the bar!

Is Mesa in the position to negotiate? I thought they had to wait another seven years or so?

2007 is when the contract is up. this picketing is just the beginning of that negotiating process.

if mesa does get a better contract there will be a lot of flightinfo crow to eat.

I have a question...

Does Mesa have a commuter clause in their contract? If so, what does it say?

Thanks.
