Mesa offer the ERJ in Atlanta-but with the tension building with the Skywest situation-not sure which way to go. Any feedback is appreciated.

that like asking if you want to get probation or thrown into federal pound me in the A$$ prision? Stay away from mesa. Its a sinking ship to say the least

Jeez, I know ASA is bad, but to compare it to federal pound me in the a$$ prison? Come on! ;)

Why bother with either? Pretty much every regional is hurting for people pick a better one.

p.s. How can you even consider Mesa?

I know. I work for Mesa and I think that federal pound me in the a$$ prison would be a much more pleasant experience.

More sleep, better treatment, and at least I wouldn't have to kid myself about not being someone's B!TcH.

no mesa

I work at mesa as well and even with the ASA?Skywest debacle I would never come here it is going down hill if there was ever a hill to go up?

Exactly- only if their base is where you live.

Unless you were that one kid in grade school that liked getting wedgies, avoid mesa...much like J.O. avoids decency

Mesa offered a job on the spot-live in ATL-just got recurrent-will try one more time for ASA-will send in my resume to them again. Thanks for everybody's opinion

Go with the first job offer and never look back. All the regionals suck. And you'd do good to get the F out of Homeylanta.

What oakum said. ^5 to that

if you choose Mesa, GO TO THE FREEDOM SIDE (ERJ/D8). I talked to a few guys who came from the mesa side to the F8 side. VERY BIG DIFFERENCE.

1. You don't have a choice. You go where the company decides to send you.

2. F8 is in flux now, bigtime. Especially the D8. All those street captains should be sweating bullets about their CA spots as their jobs are moved backed to YV. They should go to what their seniority can hold with the displacement.

3. When the dust settles and we lose the United codeshare, there's going to be some massive disruption everywhere. Any relief on the F8 side for pilots is temporary, at best. Believe me, Mesa believes in minimum contract compliance everywhere (same contract both certificates) . . . they'll drag the F8 guys down the second they have time for it.

1. If you are a new hire. Ask for the ERJ...and im sure you will get the F8 ERJ.

2. I agree, those D8 guys should be nervous.

3. i doubt that...Jorn wont let that bull happen
