this time now for bidding software (last time it was growth and jets) which will cost junior pilots jobs.

they have called off the informational picketing scheduled on the 9th at PHX and CLT. evidently the company said they would behave and AH/RH went right back to being JO's bee-yatches. spineless cowards.

no dues for hughes. get the greek in.

Get the greek in... AMEN to that.

This is rediculous. Talk of an informational picket line got the company thinking and back peddling, Imagine if we actually did it.

Once again our union leadership at MAG has failed us. As line pilots we are doing our part, mindlessly grieving everything with no results. It's hard to decide who is more against our pilot group, our MEC or JO himself.

No dues for Hughes!

The whole group sold themselves out when they took jobs at Mesa.

A PLEA FOR SUPPORT

These Messeges are making there way to the flightinfo.com board because we need everyone's support. Right now there is a LOT of change going on at Mesa. The pilots in spite of all that is against them are becoming more unified by the day. A unified group at Mesa is in EVERYONE's best interest, not just the Mesa pilots.

INFORMATIONAL PICKETTING

Informational Picketting was scheduled for Dec 9th, today in both Charlotte and Phoenix. This picketting was to reinforce the MAG (Mesa Air Group's) MEC's contract enforcement movement. You see, despite a contract with a lot of loopholes, Mesa management continually pushes the boundaries on what they can get away with. Even so far as making up rules as though they were in the contract. The pilots have begun to unify not over contract negotiations but over contract compliance. The stickers are everywhere, and the bag tags are on most luggage.

A day or two before the informational picketting was to take place, the Negotiating Committee at Mesa decided to "postpone" the picketting due to constructive talks that had begun with Management. Ie...JO From an outsiders perspective it would seem that management was pressured into returning to the table for more productive negotiations. BUT by postponing the picketting it cut our movement to unify. The picketting should have taken place if for no other reason than to further unify the pilots.

THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP

I am sure many of you surf the flightinfo.com or mesalounge.com boards to some degree, myself included. But here is some information about our leadership. Our current MEC Chairman is Capt. Andy Hughes. Capt. Hughes has been the MEC Chairman for quite a while now, and was the Chairman during our last, and now infamous contract negotiations. The Vice Chairman, Capt. Robert Henry has also been the Vice Chair for a while now and was also here during the last contract negotiations. Despite what many Mesa pilots feel, these two leaders HAVE done a lot for Mesa pilots AND have given a lot of there personal time in doing so.

THE PUSH FOR NEW LEADERSHIP

Many Mesa pilots currently feel that the MEC Chair and Vice-Chair should be removed. If for no other reason than perhaps unifying the Mesa group under new leadership. As always stickers are seen everywhere "NO DUES FOR HUGHES" they read. You may have seen one on a Mesa pilot's flight bag. Now, unlike the past, a new movement has begun. Mesa pilots have begun to rally around a Mesa pilot by the name of Angelo. Angelo is greek....hence..."let the greek in". If you ask any Mesa pilot they probably know who Angelo is. Angelo is not in the current MEC but is PRO-ALPA and has worked with ALPA in the past. Angelo was also the one to organize the picketting which for now, and without his control, been postponed.

YOU WILL KNOW WHO WE ARE

The Mesa pilots that support unity for pilots and change from management wear blue colored badge backers on their ID's. They are very easy to spot. It looks like a blue band under the horizontal shaped Mesa ID. You will also see blue and white bag tags that read Contract Compliance on them. Please support us as we continue to unify. It is for the benefit of all regional pilots that we unify.

Take care, :-)

You are kidding right? You want support from the pilots of the industry you sold out? It is your shiity contract that has caused the rest of us to accept lower contracts. You sold the industry out. You people are pathetic. You wonder why JO abuses you. BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE CAN!!! You are Tina and JO is IKE, get the drift. And I know all about Freedom and how you THINK he could have transfered all the flying there.

Point is you and your pilot group are a bunch of spineless morons. Do not go asking for help from other pilots when you and your contract have FUKCED us all!

btw, how are those 6 month upgrades goin?

Ahhh, wit. Please more.
Well, Jake, at least it was the THIRD post before the bashing from outside began.

:)

Knowing Angelo from years past (flying with him in the 1900), he would be a great addition to Mesa's MEC (or anyone's for that matter).

I hope he gets the job and I hope Mesa comes around in the contract talks...

I just hope the apathy towards your contract has changed. Without that change, your call for support will go nowhere...

Well I suppose any fight worth fighting is never easy. ScooterTrash, I have always enjoyed your posts on flightinfo.com, even your last one. I posted earlier in response to other Mesa pilot's postings. I'll make it easy for you to understand. I wrote what I did earlier so that other pilots might read and see the big picture of what was happening at Mesa. There is a lot going on and it IS of great significance. Unfortunately your last post doesn't leave me much to reply to, due to the fact that most of it were outright one sentence personal attacks. Would you be happier if the pilots at Mesa remained divided? I would venture to guess that most pilots reading this would want Mesa pilots to be unified and stronger. So we should also sign another lousy contract in 2007, so you can have something to bit%h about then? I think most pilots would agree with my previous post. It was simply informative for some to read. Only the Mesa pilots can stand up against perhaps one of the biggest threats facing the regional industry. JO would like to thank you for your previous comments.

I'd actually be happy if MESA went belly up and the pilots worked in whore-houses like they have made of this industry. Oh and on your way out the door someone ruin JO.

Peace!

Skootertrash wipe that lipstick off your in public!

Skootertrash quit dressing up in your mom's clothes again. Your such a girl! You gotta be an idiot to wish misfortune on others. You must be a classy he-she. I am glad I don't work for the employer that hired your sorry A$$!

The Damage has been done. What is mesa going to do, try and get a better contract? then JO wouls say, well look at Pennacle, Chitaqua, Piedmont, PSA, and all the others out there, they don't have that is their contract.

(well, they did before all this crap started). It's a viscious cycle that will continue to perpetuate itself forever. The damage has been done and doubtful it will ever be changed.

The past cannot be changed but it looks like someone is trying to stand up and have a spine at Mesa. There still seems to be a lot on the line for those guys/gals with JO still talking about 737's, etc. IMHO, now might be a good time to show a little support for this group rather than automatically condemning them. I do not fly for Mesa but support this movement.
