Who do you fly the CRJ for now? Surely its not so awful of a job that you are considering Mesa as a possible career move??

Do some research and hopefully you will have a change of heart.

What is this....some sort of a sick joke? Great Lakes is better than MESA....and that isn't saying much

I love Mesa.

Yeah, here ya go:

1. The wooden stick up the @ss test. Don't wiggle or squeal or you're out.

2. "The princess and the pea test;" They put a small pea on a piece of plywood and lay it across the seats of a CRJ. You should be able to sleep on the board and the pea without any problems.

3. A short questionaire. Covered items include the nutritional value of Raman and it's location in your local grocery store, where to find the best food coupons, how to get drunk on a budget, and survival on 1500 calories per day.

4. They'll put you in a dirty room with rats, a leaking roof and noisy neighbors for 4 hours to simulate the type of apartment you'll be able to afford on FO's pay AND the amount of rest you'll get between duty periods.

5. The phone test: A binary problem set one involving fending off bill collectors and the other one dealing with crew tracking's most unreasonable requests. The answer to every question is "yes."
