Taking 1900 class next month and would like to find some of the Mesa materials, limitations, checklists, callouts, 1900 manuals. Have 3 weeks before class and would like to get a little light reading before hand.

Thanks again for any assistance.

Before you go to Mesa- see www.aero2003.org

I would also stock up on the KY jelly (Makes things a little less painful). Also, I would get your unemployment paperwork filled out (If this merger with ACA happens- you will be on the street!).
But other than that-I wish you the best of luck in your aviation career! (You are going to need it).

I do not fly for Mesa, but most companies will (or should)send out a study guide with the limitations, memory items and call out they want you to know before you show up to ground school. I would advise only using what they send you and want you to know. If they do not send you anything you may want to try The Turbine Transition Manual by Dan Boedigheimer which has lots of 1900D systems info, you can at least get some basic systems info.

Mesa not the best but at least they should be sending you some study info. Good Luck

Devo, that is inappropriate.
If you want to talk trash, start your own thread.

You see, I am pretty grown up. I am an "Aviation Professional",. while I apologize for insulting your sensabilities- you have to understand from where I view this whole situation (Kind of verbose, I know). Mesa, as a company, is threatening my company. While I don't hold any ill will toward the employees of Mesa, I do feel that anyone considering employment at Mesa should understand the reality of situation in which they will soon find themselves. Mr. Ornstein is hasn't exactly been forthcoming with the facts concerning this whole ACA/Mesa merger. If the gentleman who is requesting study documents above would like to find out more- see www.aero2003.org. Any promises of quick upgrade must be tempered by the facts. The fact is should any of Mesa's current code share partners even so much as burps- Mesa will start the furloughs. As I said "Good luck in your aviation career.

propilot....I'd get your head examined in the next three weeks!

Save yourself the trouble MESA SUCKS!!

QUIT before you get HIRED!

Hey Dieterly,
My guess is that you measure your worth as a pilot by the size of the airplane you "Drive". Get real...The real measure of a person is not what sort of job they do but the content of their character. I suppose flying a "Big" airplane allows you to "Compensate" for your other "Shortcomings". To tell you the truth, I enjoy me time off, aviation isn't my only outlet and I am not defined by the type of "Job " that I do. Get a life! ( And quit comparing yourself to other people- that's not healthy)
