Hmmm... Airlinepilotcentral.com says PDT year 1 FOs make 24.00 an hour. At 72 hours guarantee and 12 bid periods, thats $20,736 a year... GROSS.... So, what did you rack up 13,204 in Per Diem? Or did you fly 45.8 Over guarantee each month?

It was probably a combination of the two. Flying 90-100 hours a month is not at all uncommon, and neither is $500 or more per month in per diem. It is harder than it used to be, but if you work smart you can make some decent ducats here at PDT.

EVERY CONTRACT....geez lets see we are on #2. F@!*ing #2.
That brings up a good topic. What # contract are you on?
Why dont you start it off WSURF. And everyone else chime in with how many contracts your airline pilot group have had.

Hmmm, I made 28k my first year at PDT... But then again I wasn't done with training until the end of Feb. of that year. Payrates don't paint the picture of how much money you make, a good working contract will.
Example.... Sched. called me to help them out... Can you DH to TRI and then fly the first flight out to CLT in the morning and DH back to EWN. Sure I can, and by me helping them I get premium pay! So we get a min. day guarentee of 4.0 and Prem on top 4.0.. So I just did a 2 day trip that got me 16hrs of pay and I was away from home less then 24hrs.
When we run our airline thin there is good cash to be made. My last 3 months of pay credit was 115, 98, 101. So for flying a Prop the pay at PDT isn't all that bad, could always be better... but not bad!
