Dear Mr Lowlife.

You do not get it, you have been the a#$hole to my ex mesa brothers for years.

Are you one of the best PDT/ALG Captains as well, that is always safe unlike others?

BTW I was there at DCA.

Preach on dude, you are the best, we all know that.

WTF?

When have I been an a$%hole to anyone, including Mesa employees? I treat everyone with respect, even in disagreement. Mesa pilots have always been welcome on my jumpseat and will continue to be in the future.

What the hell is that about safety? Are you aware of any PDT CA's who operate in an unsafe manner? If so, I would encourage you to persue the matter through the pro-standards committee or even through your chief pilot. Otherwise, shut the f*ck up.

Ummm, oh yeah... I was there in DCA too. You weren't one of the jerks cracking jokes, were you?

My problem with you is that you used a horrible accident as some kind of come back line on an internet forum. That is inappropriate, beneath the profession and indicative of your obvious lack of discretion and tack. You sir, have no class whatsoever.

As for Mesa being or not being bottom feeders, I personally don't give a damn.

Doesn't MESA stand for minimal experienced student aviator?

I am just amazed that some of you guys are proud to be commuter pilots. Every regional sucks. To the guys that fly the dash, get off your high horse! You fly a Dash for Fu%K sake! I know it's really hard to put it on at 88kts.

i cant fly that slow anymore. I tried out my dads 206 last year and came across the numbers at like 120 KTS. Boy he was pissed!

Ouch. That's really mean. Thank god we've got guys like you to remind us that we suck. Mahalos.

No problem, but I was once there too. This sh!t of bashing each other has to stop.

I agree that most all the regionals suck but mesa pretty much set the standard.

You got the one from Mainline constantly in yours don't you?

Mesa has been good to me....

I flew at Mesa for a little while and I thought it was fine. All the guys whining about the low pay confounded me. Didn't they read the pay charts before they signed on? I did, and I knew it would suck....no surprises there.

But Mesa came through for me AFTER I left the company. We took $50K from my wife's old 401K and bought Mesa stock at $4.00 a share. Sold it recently at exactly $12.00 a share. You do the math. I only wish I'd held out for a price around $17.00, it will happen.

JO makes money. In a capitalist society money talks and BS walks. Pilots are another expense in an industry that can barely turn a profit, if at all. As a line pilot, I realized that I was just a liability and a number to the company. Many pilots, however, believe the airlines are some sort of social welfare program for them. Airlines are businesses, trying to make money for their owners (i.e. shareholders).

Mesa certainely didn't set the standard for crappy commuter jobs in this industry, but JO is doing his best to keep up the tradition.

Good for you, can you now STFU.................................. .

Wow. A stunning come back. Holy crap you are stupid.

You didn't address a single point I made. Did you do any reading comprehension in elementary school?

I ask again... When did I say anything bad at all about Mesa pilots? I used to be able to stand their presence, but after talking to you...

I hope all Mesa pilots aren't morons like you. Something tells me you are in a class by yourself.

LOST IN TRANSLATION:

Mommy and Daddy loved me so much that they gave me oodles of love and money so when I went to Mesa, the pay didn't really faze me cause ma and pa will always be there with open bank accounts. I fantasize about becoming JO. Hey, if I can screw someone and it's legal, then it must b e ethical. My second daddy (Ornstein) is my hero; most guys dream of becoming a sports star or leader of a rock band, not me. It's CEO for this grown up tyke. Not just any CEO. Those companies that care or at least pretend to care about their employees making a more enjoyable place to work may be for some people. Not me (I love the words I, me, my, mine, etc.), my goal is plain and simple, to join the ranks of the greatest in the CEO hall of shame: ORNSTEIN, Lorenzo, Kenneth Lay, etc.

I care only about me,

ROJO

Not that I have a dog in this fight one way or another, but way to be professional guys:rolleyes:

Can't everybody just STFU, do their job, get their paycheck and go home without whining and b!tching about everybody else that has ruined their life and/or career expectations?

Even with the current Go Jet situation, do some of you still not understand the threat MAG pilots were facing in Freedom prior to their contract? MAG pilots are pissed. A new MEC is coming. Support your ALPA bretheren during their Section 6 in 2007 and until then quit this piddly squabbling - it makes us all look like farkin' children.

/rant off

Are you kidding??? You know you're on Flightinfo, don't you???

I'm not a Mesa pilot, WSurf.

I do, however, understand what they were facing and the hard sacrifices they made in 2003 to scope Freedom flying. I would really expect people to have a better appreciation of this given the TSA/GJ situation.

You say "its like that every contract for you guys"...do you even know anything about the CBA prior to 2003?

I am not a Mesa pilot, but I am sure glad I was never a Piedmont pilot.

PSA baby, PSA..............good old J32.......

Now are you going to fly the E190's for Mainline?

How about a J4J deal.

Ohhhh now I get it. PSA. Now your comments make some sort of sense. Getting pissed at Piedmont guys because you are ticked about the mainline guys flowing back isn't really productive. Hey, you guys stabbed us in the back when we were negotiating for the jets. You undercut us, so now you reap what you sow. Enjoy sharing the flight deck with the mainline boys.

Why are you so glad you were never a Piedmont pilot? Is it so bad over here? Are we now the "unwashed" becuase we still fly props? Yup, jets sure do make you better. I wish I had a jet... Not.

E190s at mainline? We shall see. It depends on the pay that is offered. If I have to go at first year, no way. It would have to be something better... Maybe my current rate until my longevity/equipment can hold something better? Who knows, I am sure our flowthrough committee is working on it.

One thing is for sure. I won't stab my freinds in the back for a shot at flying a jet. Not like you cool guys at PSA. Imagine what it would be like if we merged? DOH, baby. I like the sound of that... It is all about "me" remember? Karma sure is a bi*ch.

As far as Mesa goes... Good luck with your next contract. Make it something to be proud of and you will get allot more respect.

PropCap, WSurf, all Piedmonsters...

Don't let Sniper speak for all PSA cats. Me and alot of my other PSA boys have much love for PDT/ALG. Hey guys, we're all in the same disfunctional family. All the RJ BS, J4J BS, got all F'ed up but all that is in the past. Shoot, I didn't vote for this crap. But either way, that's what happened, I'm just playing the cards I was dealt.

We gotta remember who the enemy is...the "new" C-con in CLT.

Shoot, everybody knows real men fly props...some days I wish I still had mine :(

"The paltry sum of 33,940 bucks the first year."

Hmmm... Airlinepilotcentral.com says PDT year 1 FOs make 24.00 an hour. At 72 hours guarantee and 12 bid periods, thats $20,736 a year... GROSS.... So, what did you rack up 13,204 in Per Diem? Or did you fly 45.8 Over guarantee each month?

no Piedmont is a decent place to work for i can promise you that. Scheduling sorta sucks but then again i only imagine most airline's have crappy scheduling issues. As far as Piedmont pay, first year is more than most other carriers out there, especially the jet ones. our contract is awesome who has the things we have. I am not 100% gung-ho when it comes to our future, but then again doug parker has said MANY times he is FED UP with rj's. the 50 seat dash compared to the 50 seat rj on a per seat basis speaks for it self. but who knows what the future will hold for us. i imagine there will be one us airways express in the future a big ass merger of us and psa and a potential buyout-merger of air willy!
