Please Anyone from MESA that can help.
I was invited for an interview next dec. 10th but I screwd up and ask to departure from BTR what is next to my city LFT but MSY has much better options and I would be a lot better departuring from MSY. But now the only phone I have is 602-685-4089 and the guy transfer me to Capt. Steven Crystal and I always end up in the answering machine, I also already sent an email but no answer yet as the date is aproaching I really like to someone to help me giving some other phone to solve this matter.
Thank in advance for any help given.

try this number

I don't work for Mesa, but did several years ago in Flight Ops. From what I remember, the phone number to their main operator is 602-685-4000. If for some reason that doesn't work, try 602-685-1000, but I think the first number is correct.

Hope this helps.

try.....

1-888-634-6372 = System Operation "0" for the operator and ask for Lori Clark or try Crew Tracking "3" and "1" and then tell'em the Clip is happy to be GONE and to eat the corn otta my $hit!!!!!!!!! BTW Good Luck, is the Gold Club in BTR still kicking???

Another sadly uninformed person that hasn't done any homework. Do you not read anything on this forum about Mesa. You guys have no idea that you are all selling your own future career plans short just so that you can get a uniform and fly a jet. Ornstein thrives off guys like you who would sell your wife to get an "airline job", hence his statement that he thinks his pilots are overpaid since he has no problems filling up newhire classes. Unbelievable! Oh wait, most of you probably don't have wives and kids and mortgages yet since you're right out of PFT school. Wait a couple years and then we'll see who's whining about not making any money.

interview tip

Be Bold - Wear a Christmas tie. They asked if anyone was wearing one at my interview. Only CA Todd Clark was wearing one.

Make sure you get yours. Screw everybody, just get in a jet. You guys that will do ANYTHING to fly a jet make life hard for everyone else.

The irony...

I know it will be the rich kid ass monkey that took a job that paid nothing to get ahead that complains the most in 10 years when there are no decent paying jobs left.

Thanks again loser, every time some snot nosed loser like you takes a job at Mesa its one more nail in the coffin that holds my flying career.

Do they guys that hire at the majors even care. Will they refuse to hire pilots from the likes of these bottom feeder carriers?

Squawk 7500

I think this thread just got hijacked. Somebody comes on here asking for information regarding an interview, and people immediately begin blasting him because the airline he is interviewing with is MESA.

Its a fact Mesa flies jets for less than the WOs, and they are growing at the expense of the WOs. Its a fact that they have a crappy contract, and that they were whipsawed with Freedom. ITS SAID AND DONE, GET OVER IT! Some of you sound like a few of the Blue Ridge guys on MesaLounge.

Take the responsibility of rasing the bar upon yourselves. Admire Comair and Mesaba, but don't continue to bash the MAG pilot group. They've heard it all before (over and over and over).

Foobar, personal attacks make you sound real professional. With that type of attitude, I'm sure you get a call any day now for a "real airline", a "decent paying" one that isn't a "bottom feeder".

Well DUH its a personal attack. I am personally affected everytime someone signs up with mesa. It has an effect on me personally becuase the jobs don't pay a livable wage and now I have to work in an office at a desk. Its not that I can't get a job, its that I don't want one that pays so little. So yes its personal and no I won't get a descent job because all those places will be out of business.

My advice to you...DON"T DRINK AND POST. Man, I could hardly get through that. Think of this as your first test administered by Mesa, the phone tree. If your successful you get to fly a jet! Pathetic.

Ligeirinho was not drunk when he posted his question, I believe he is from South America and English is his second language.

I do however think he was wasted when he created his screen name:eek: I had to look at it a dozen times before I got it right.

No offense Ligeirinho, just having some fun:D

Why does that matter? Obviously Foobar is informed.

Of what? That he can vent everyone else's frustrations over Mesa onto one person just trying to work?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mesa's pilots are represented by ALPA, your international, correct? And, as to all contracts negotiated by MEC s of said union, international president Capt. Duane Woerth has to personally sign off on them, correct? And again, if I have this wrong, please let me know, but Capt. Woerth's signature is on that deal, is it not?

 So why isn't ALPA taking some of this flak? The Mesa pilot group is being treated like a bunch of scabs over what? By engaging in thoughtful collective bargaining, receiving "expert" guidance from the honchos at ALPA, then, when all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed, Capt. Duane Woerth gives his annointed blessing on the deal. Oh, and don't forget, they had the specter of Freedom Air hanging over their heads the entire time.

So who caved? Well, Mesa's pilots did, that's for sure. But they got a little push along the way from lots of places, not the least of which was from Capt. Woerth himself. Now, this is not to lay the blame squarely at the foot of ALPA. But if this deal was as bad for pilots as we all believe it to be, then the Mesa pilot group surely deserved better representation than it received.

And now, some of us want to spit in the face of someone who wasn't even around when all of this happened. Someone whose shoes we've all been in before.

Think real hard before throwing stones, fellas. While many of us have earned the right to be offended at Mesa's contract, remember that bad things sometimes happen to good people.

Interesting point. I have read a
few articals in ALPA magazine
belittling and bemoaning the
very existance of RJ's as a threat
to high-paying mainline jobs.
Even with so many fewer mainline
jobs out there right now, I bet that
their 1.9% of income that goes to the
ALPA coffers is more than all the
regional 1.9%'s put together...I
really don't know, it is 1.9% dues,
right?

just a junkstream driver for an
airline ALPA doesn't have time
to deal with.

Just like the management at Mesa,
they know which side the bread is
buttered on!

Boiler is a he!! of a bagsmasher
fer 3C at the LAF airport! See his
reply to the Corporate Airlines
post, and the rest of the $hitstorm!

Ha...hahaha

So I guess everybody who is getting on this guy for interviewing with mesa went right from flight instructing to making 30,000 a year at a regional right? He didn't have anything to do with the stupid contract issues over there. Who knows if he paid for training or not?? I guess I should've just kept flying freight 6 days a week because mesaba would only pay me 18 bucks an hour. I should just refuse an airline job on general principles, pay some more dues, etc just because I'm 22 and unmarried. That will definitely show them. Somebody please tell me if you know someone who started at their first 121 job making a "decent wage."
