Would a US Airways liquidation, really cause mass furloughs with Mesa and Chautauqua? Anybody have any theories?

Many Airline industry investors don't believe that CHQ would be affected too significantly. Yes, Chq does have 33 planes in service for Airways and almost 1/3 of their revenue comes for them, but they seem to have contingency plans already in place. I'm not making this stuff up either, go to Yahoo Finance and look up "RJET" stock quote. Thats Chq's parent company; and read the investment articles about the Airways-CHQ relationship. They say that those airplanes would probably be smoothly transitioned to an existing code-share or be moved to a new one. Other articles can be found throughout the internet on this exact subject, not just on Yahoo Finance.

Yeah, but dont believe anything you read on this board. Dont believe anything you read in the media or anything from any airline management. This industry is full of liers, backstabbers, scabs, and low-lifes (many of them post on this board). All you can really do is do your own reasearch and form your own unbiased theories. That is why I encouraged the use of Yahoo Finance and other internet sources of information.
