i'm hearing some pretty credible information that Mesa is looking to buy Midway...anyone out there hearing this?

It further strengthens their east coast operations and allows them to quickly impliment CRJ's under j4j's....JO said publicly that "..it is certainly something we've been exploring..".

Just wondering.

Dunno but..

Robert Fergason, former CO and the man who gave us all "Contenental Lite" is the CEO and his biggest advantage is as a leasing agent for Canadair. He's got the delivery positons and thats the gold these days. JO has the "in" with Segal at US, I wouldn't be suprised....

You can be certain that J.O. has already found a way to crack Mesa's scope and operate them as a separate company if it is true.

How sad would that be if the day after DW signs their contract, they have to file grievance for Scope against JO.. and to think all they gave up for the scope language.

I am being serious, that would be sad and would have to be bad faith bargaining, wouldn't it?
