Hey everyone!

I'm just on here seeking a little friendly advice...I recently heard that Mesa Airlines has lowered their time requirements to 700 TT and 100 ME for Riddle graduates. Well, atleast the career center told me that so I just wanted to make sure! I'm still a little ways off from meeting that since I'm only a third year student. But I'm getting there!

I figure there has to be some truth in this because our training program is looked upon highly by airlines. Especially since those of us that are lucky (and take the class) get some time in an A320, how invaluable is that! I'm also pretty familiar with the 777 systems & components because of a class I took two semesters ago. Definately valuable knowledge!

Anyway, if someone can help me out I'd really appreciate it. I know that Mesa doesn't pay the best, but honestly I'm just in it for the fun of flying! There's nothing better than soaring around the clouds, so I figured why not get paid for it too! Heck, you don't have to pay me $40,000 to make me happy! I plan on doing a bit of CFI'ing on the side, just to take care of the Riddle debt.

Thanks! Safe flying!! :D

What in God's name are you blabbering about?

Seriously man you give Riddle people a bad name...Please, don't ever, ever post here again.

Your A320 time is about as valuable as my time studying Shakespear before my checkride while on the john. Please tell me you didn't go to Prescott.

Pilots like you who fly for peanuts are the reason pilot pay is being lowered like crazy. Get a desk job.

Wow you're serious aren't you? Yes I did to go to Prescott and I was a proud member of the Flight Team, thank you very much...I can land a 152 on a DIME. And you say my flying skills suck?

Oh...and about that A320 time...atleast I can breeze through A320 training when I get hired for a major. Have fun in your little puddle jumper props.

Sorry to say your the kind of pilot that have brought the pay down to nothing.

When you paid 20k a year, and have 8 days off a month don't complain.
Dude why don't you work for free.... so you can fly a jet.

He can't be serious. I think this is someone creating a username and coming on here just to get all our panties in a bunch. Looks like it worked.

If this guy is for real, then this industry is going to he!! in a handbasket.

Why would you all think this is even remotly real? Lets see... This flamer picked every topic that peope like to hate. Riddly guys who think they know all, Mesa etc. and then mixed it all into one post. These posts come around about once a month. Lay into "him" if you want to waste your time, but you're just feeding "his" fun.

Another new poster (3 posts) to bring some comedy to our lives. I think I may try it someday when I'm bored. Create a new username, post flame on a hot topic and feed off the gullilble sheep.

P.S.- Hay Magneto, how are those daylight hours treating you? :)

Just have to say I went to Riddle but DO NOT HAVE that Riddle Attitude...Oh my God Especially the flight team at daytona beach side

This guys is PROUD of the flight team.....no big deal..good for him! :) JUST DONT HAVE THAT ATTITUE CAUSE IF YOU DO...GOOD LUCK DUMBA$$

I would have loved to join and get some free flight time if I knew it would be fun but when your surrounded by DORKS and LOSERS then it makes it difficult.

So whats your name? hahaha

I'll vouch for the ERAU guys too. Most of the ones I met were genuinely great people. But the Prescott guys seem to be more laid back. I have no idea how you could go to school in Lauderdale and still graduate. But it beats the monastery where I went to school. ;)

This guy reminds me of this kid who came up to me back in the fall and started showing me all the books he had bought (including the FAR/AIM 2004), and that he'd read the whole thing cover to cover but he wasn't starting his training until spring semester.... in the meantime, he was sure to tell me he had logged over 1000 hours on Microsoft Flight Simulator.... That'll be valuable!

ER post

If the post is real, he'll learn to shut up when he realizes that after he gets picked up by a regional you don't have to go to riddle work for an airline.

One of my old co-workers actually had some dude come in off the street, said this, and wanted to get "checked out" to rent some airplanes. Funny stuff!

Isn't Hiring a Riddle pilot, lowering your standards anyway?

Just kidding :)

I hope to God this guy is fake...what an idiot. Makin' us Riddle pilots who actually try to keep somewhat of a low profile and not make an ass out of ourselves look bad.

Sad but true. My private instructor said the exact thing word for word. He would tell me that "at Riddle, they train you to be an airline pilot from day one" and that "All airlines go to Riddle to pick the creme of the crop" He also bragged about having X amount of hours in a Beech 1900 sim, and that he can fly circles around anyone.

I'm glad they pump you full of B.S. down there.
