from my mec:

Your MEC and Negotiating Committee met, starting today, February 6, 2003 at 13:00 in Phoenix, AZ. Your MEC Chairman, members of your Negotiating Committee, the CCAir Custodian, the ALPA Resource Coordinator and representatives of the ALPA Legal Staff thoroughly briefed your MEC on the bargaining history and current circumstances surrounding the Tentative Agreement. MEC Status Representatives participated in discussions of each section.

Your MEC passed a resolution which permits a temporary Jets-for-Jobs program to begin immediately. The permanent Jets-for-Jobs Protocol will be integral to the Tentative Agreement that will be presented to the pilots through the membership ratification process.

Your MEC also passed a resolution for a motion to send out the Tentative Agreement for membership ratification
