The pilot was an experienced individual with a great deal of time in the Metro. He was highly thought of by all toughs who had the pleasure to fly and work with him.

Ameriflight (along with everyone else) is looking into what may have lead to the final out come. Right now they are looking at the possibility that the number 1 NAV was deferred. For the most part AMF aircraft are in good shape and the base at BFI is known for not skimping on things. Ask anyone that has flown the Metro and they will tell you that it is a complex, fast and heavy airplane to fly.

Care to explain your post... did Ameriflight pile up a metro????????

.
did Ameriflight pile up a metro????????

NOT a very nice way to ask if someone’s son, father died flying a SW4! But yes, a AMF SW4 went down on Saturday.

I suggest you read the "Anyone have any more info?" thread. There is a lot of info on what happened. Saddly AMF lost a pilot.
