Does anyone know where I can get trained in a Merlin to satisfy insurance requirements for a Part 91 operator? The only place I could find was Flight Safety. It does not require a type rating, but I would think I need some sort of training course since I have no time in it. Thanks.

Flight Safety has a program and so does SimCom down in Florida. I know a pilot who flyes one here in Wisconsin and he goes down to SimCom to do his training once a year. He said he liked it there, but can't compare it to FSI since he has never gone there.

What type Merlin ? II,III,IV,etc ? We have a guy that does ours and our insurance OK'd it.E-mail me for info.
