Curious to know if this CO/UAL thing goes down Monday like all the news reports are saying, would the two companies most likely merge OCCs into one big location, or keep a seperate Houston and Chicago OCC? What happened with Delta/Northwest? Are they operating separate, or did they combine down to Atlanta? Thanks.

MSP DX moved to DLs OCC in ATL. When they were redesigning the DL OCC, they preplanned all the NWA positions, so when NWA moved south, they would have a place to go.

They ran their airline (NWA) from the ATL DL OCC with their (NWA) systems and processes until the fleet was completely integrated. All pre-merger NWA fleets are now on the DL Flight Planning System; NWAs WORLDFLIGHT no longer exists for mainline flt ops - they're all on DLs OSS; Worldflight still exists for the regionals.

They have announced already that if it were to happen, that CO HQ would move to Chicago - not sure if that would include the CO SOC.
