Does Skywest have enough extra money to acquire another airline? I wonder who American and Southwest are looking to merge or acquire now that Delta/Northwest and Continental/United are engaged.

Last I heard, SKW has something like $650 million in the bank.

Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that Continental is talking to American, too.

Gonna be an interesting couple of months, that's for sure.
