I'm pretty sure Northwest Airlines is no longer available as a merger partner.
 
They listed all the wrong airlines...how about UAL? They are actively looking and dont have a single new aircraft on order. USA Today is like reading the comics sometimes.

Just goes to prove how uneducated these guys are...the media that is.
 
Funny, that same article has come up every year. At least there is no giant grid showing all the probable combinations this time.
