From what I understand, men are eligible for WIA scholarships. However looking over the last few years winners, I do not see a single male, or more correctly a name I can identify as a male name - some of the non-engish names I am not sure. So the question is, do men ever win these scholarships?
 
Yeah, a guy applied and won a hefty scholarship for the first time in 2002. His face was brilliant red, but the officals reminded everyone that these scholarships were open to all unless specifically stating otherwise.

I think he even got a few phone numbers for dates as us ladies admired his chutzpah.
