This is dated 16 years, but the initial medical is waaay more in depth than a Class I. Once you're rated you get an exam every year that alternates between a "short" and a "long" medical. The short is slightly more in depth than a typical class one (specifically in that they involve a full hearing and vision exam), while a long also includes a full blood and urine workup. Neither a long nor a short, however, is anywhere near that initial exam.
