Good Day all.
I have a question for you who wish to help me out a little. I am currently a commercial pilot with all kinds of good experience. I've also been an enlisted member of the Air Guard for quite some time now. I am about to begin the process of trying to get into a seat at my unit...but here's my deal.
Every time I go in for my annual flight physical, I get real nervous. This in turn raises my blood pressure. What I've had to do in the past is have it taken at home and bring in a record to the doctor...which works just fine for me. My BP is actually well within the limits of normal. I just can't get over my "white coat sydrome" and get relaxed in a doctors office and my BP then skyrockets. This of course makes me more nervous about it the next time and so on ...... Anyway, how is this handled for the pilot medical screening? I am in perfect health and qualify very well in all other aspects of the process...but this kind of sticks in the back of my mind.

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.
