I have a friend who just had his medical deffered to the FAA for High blood pressure. Already had the full workup as required by the FAA from a chardioligist that said he was ok and cleared for everything , AME would not give him his medical and also lied on two seperate occasions (another post for another time
) and deffered him to Oak city.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation. Any advice to speed up the process, as my friend is a few days away from loosing his job. He has been on the phone to the FAA and they have been very helpful, alot more so than the AME.

He is very upset that all this crap is going on, no fly=no money, possibility of loosing his job, and there is absolutley nothing wrong with him. We have heard that this process can take anywhere from 1 week to three months.

Thanks in advance.

Also if anyone wants to know what bay area AME to avoid PM me.

Seems like he could get disability pay to at least hold him over until it is resolved.
