Actually two questions.
1) My doctor says I have a non-serious condition that requires a lifetime medication. The only aviation related info I could find about the condition is that I need a doctors note saying my condition is stabilized for my FAA medical.
The condition is called a hypothyroid. It is now stabilized and I can get a note. I need a medical this month. Do I tell the FAA?
2) My new doctor for my company healthcare is an FAA examiner. Would it be prudent to find a new doctor who isn't tied with the FAA?
I've always been 100% healthy so I'm new to these medical issues. I've heard in the past that you don't tell em anything you can keep secret. How do I play this game?
Thanks in advance for any help.
