A plane skidded off an airport taxiway and at least three people died in weather-related crashes after freezing drizzle made roads treacherous Tuesday night and early Wednesday.
No injuries were reported when a jet with 117 passengers on board skidded off a taxiway at Indianapolis International Airport shortly after midnight Wednesday.
Passengers on the Delta plane told Indianapolis TV station WTHR that the plane had just landed and was slowly taxiing to the terminal when it slid into the grass.
The plane was headed to Milwaukee from Chicago, but was diverted to Indianapolis because the Milwaukee airport was closed due to weather.
The plane was not damaged.
