Maybe a psychologist can explain why a lot of people get excited over politicians who pee on us yet curse management (in many cases deserved). Not only do we get urinated on by our politicians but we thank them for it plus re-elect them.
And for all those folks who are big proponents of education, the majority of politicians went to college and have their JD's. I also speculate the Enron, et.al. executives had/have their degrees. Can't teach character.

Obama is only a freshman senator - not even through a complete first term.

Other than getting himself elected to the Senate, please name three specific accomplishments that he has made.

The dude flat out needs to get some experience then give it a shot. This is akin to a guy with a private license and 250TT jumping in a G-550 and blasting off on a Pacific crossing - you'd never approve of that in a zillion years.

Why would you want a guy with no - zero, zilch - real experience running the most powerful (for now) country in the world.

As for Hillary, she doesn't have much more. Her "years" of foreign policy experience consist of attending tea parites with other wives while Bill was in the real meetings.

Actually, I'd rather see someone with ZERO time in the US Senate, House, or otherwise.

Why on earth would you consider time in Congress as an asset? These guys have proven an indomitable ability to S()CK at everything.

BSkin,

Your argument has no merit on either count.
"Offspring of 'radical' muslims." Yes, his father was a muslim. Add the word "radical" in front of it, it makes it sound scarier- Ooh.. But he never knew his father, and he was raised by his Christian mother in Kansas and Hawaii. By the way, what makes a muslim radical? Or are they all that way in your eyes?

The English thing is weak and xenophobic. (Look it up, it's in the English dictionary.)

Also, I think Barack Obama's candidacy appeals very much to the spirit of our forefathers. He carries a message of hope- where people are free to exercise his and her freedoms to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Not endless war, racism, fear, and religious persecution.

Your arguments are small-minded. You know it deep down. And it frightens you.

My argument is "small-minded" yet your argument consists of quoting the constitution. War has been going on since man lived, as has religious persecution. So tell me how someone from the democrat party will take care of your above statement! And, I'm sorry, yes I have a problem with Muslims as they attacked our country. Obama is a son of a radical-Muslim, was not raised by him, but by another radical Muslim, his mom didn't vary far in that category. Don't get me wrong, he is one of the smoothest talkers in some time -- I just don't trust him. 9/11 isn't that far away and if you want to call me a Muslim hater, so be it! Blame what happened 7 years ago for that!

Clinton, Obama, or McCain - I have huge problems with all of them and don't want any of them to be president.

Clinton - Sorry sweetheart - you have experience being President? I won't vote for you because you think I am so stupid as to think that being first lady is the same thing as being president.

Obama - you, like democracts in general, think their should be a friggin government program for every perceived problem in the world and that us rich people (making more than 75,000 a year) should pay for it.

McCain - Sorry but I can't support anyone who thinks it is in our best interest to take 1/2 trillion dollars and set it on fire in the friggin desserts of Iraq. I don't care how much experience you have - if you make bad decisions - you are no good.

I guess I have to choose my issue - and the issue I am choosing is the Iraq war...it's a waste of time and money...period. I supported Afghanistan, I would even support an invasion of Pakistan - to get OBL, Iraq has never had anything to do with the war on terror or 9/11. The war on Iraq has made us less safe, cost us a fortune, and lowered the US standing in the world both economically and politically. I will vote for the democractic candidate - only because it will be the lesser of two evils.

This country is in real trouble - Look at the US currency in relation to just about every major currency out there. When Bush took office in 2000 It cost you 1.48 canadian to get one US dollar, today they are almost even with each other. When super models no longer take payment in US dollars - that should be a huge clue to the rest of us.

This is what it must have felt like to be a British citizen at the end of their reign as a world super power.

We are in real trouble as a country - and most of us don't even know it yet.

I really hope you aren't as bigoted as you sound.

Sure, Obama or Hillary would be better for pilots.

They'd also be better for the jihadist radicals trying to establish sharia law around the world.

Clinton or Obama are Muqtada al-Sadr's dream candidates...he and his nutball buddies (and not us pilots) will gain the most with one of those two appeasers in office.
