I have been off for a couple of weeks. It has come to my attention that SWA-AAI will close May 2nd.

According to fightinfo this day would never come. If it did come it would be the end of SWA culture. Let me be the first to say sorry for ********************ing up your beautiful airline.

The next predictions according to Flight Info:
1. GK sells all AAI assets, fires everybody, and takes the gates in Atlanta.
2. GK gets pissed at a long SLI battle and sells all AAI assets and fires everybody.
3. Fearing a break down in SWA culture, GK sells everything and fires everybody.
4. Due to a 1Q loss AAI is stapeled.
5. Due to obvious contract disparity AAI is stapeled.
6. 1 for 1 integration except for Ty Webb who is stapeled.
7. Due to a lack of seats on the 717 and inferior pilots... AAI is stapeled.
8. Fair and equitable will be defined as a staple.
9. 1 to 1 integration from top to bottom.
10. List integration by Awesome rating. Very complicated but I hedged just this week by asking my FA which car would be a better choice once I get my pay bump BMW or Jaguar (easily plus 100 Awesome points: 20 points for asking about something they can't afford, 20 additional because I would never buy either car, 60 for pointing out how much the income disparity is without saying a salary number)

I am so excited to see what happens next. Flightinfo is my only source for merger info. I am patiently waiting for the world to end and unemployment.

Most SWA flight attendants I know work way too much to make what they do. So do most of the pilots too. The problem with self imposed limits inside the FAA limits is that most over do it and burn themselves out.

As for what will be I say tell her the fa to get a used jag, it looks good on blocks.

I am sorry that some on here have tainted your view of "OUR" airline. It is a great place to work, the people are fantastic, and I'm sure you guys will love it here. The culture is definitely something that we take pride in. Hopefully we can continue our great culture and not have anyone "*************ing up OUR beautiful airline" as you posted above.

Crash Pad,

I don't know if I was supposed to but I laughed! That's a pretty funny list but you forgot "due to the hassles of flying into ATL Airtran will be stapled." Do you mind if I forward it to our NC?

Gup ;)

Staple me somewhere between the Reagan years and Clinton... heh-heh.

Seriously, I'll be happy with whatever the MC/NC come up with.

Since were all thinking wishfully, go ahead and move me between Reagan and Clinton on the list. Why the hell not?

Blueblood, you make the money back for the type in the first year.

Yeah if you have all your riddle loans paid back, and if your mom and dad don't kick you out of the house. Then yeah, maybe.
