Got called for an interview the first week of July and am looking for interview gouge. Checked all the usual sites but came up with nothing. Anybody know where I might find some information or could give me an idea what to expect? Looking forward to the interview, just would like to go in as prepared as possible. Thanks

I hear they are expanding their routes to include LAX-Stansted. Starting salary is a little low for FOs on an international 767 ($50K) but I guess you could do worse. Sounds like they are expanding both their routes and fleet number. With all the crappy service pax are getting these days, the Maxjet service seems like a real step up and it could do well - that entire business-class market is exploding with many new Transatlantic entrants (EOS, Silverjet to London Luton, L'Avion to Paris, Privatair has been around since the beginning with BBJs and A319s, and Virgin will start its own service soon). EOS offers a slightly more upscale service (seats are more like beds) than Maxjet but it has fewer seats on its 757s.

Good luck!

Anybody knows the 411 to be considered for the position?

Thanks!

Two-part question:

1. Does Maxjet have ETOPS certification? I'm sure they didn't right out of the box.

2. How long did it take to get it? Or, how much longer?

MAXjet ETOPS

Yes, MAXjet has ETOPS. It took a long time to get it, partly due to change in FAA POI, delay in validation flight, etc. The validation flight was in March of this year.

Does anybody has info on quality of life, schedules, lines, days off a month, etc...

I would really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

The interview I did back in 05 was straight out of Southwests playbook, tell us about a time. I do not know if it has changed (I did not get hired). CAn't tell you much more, a few guys I know went their and they seemed happy, I haven't talked to any of them lately though, but the company did at least seem to be trying to keep their employees happy.
