What do you guys think of Maule's? How do they fly compared to a Husky for fun factor?

I owned a 1972 M4 for five years and I loved it. The Maule is a true STOL four place airplane, and a lot of fun to fly.
Mine had the Franklin 220 engine, which IMHO is one of the best horizontal opposed airplane motors ever built. In that five years I replaced the intake packings, plugs and harness, and that's it. Very few AD's. Not a very pretty Airplane, but well built.
Some say they are uncomfortable. I'm 6 feet and 250 lbs and I had no problem. Some say they are hard to handle on the ground, but I disagree.
With the wife and two kids, baggage compartment full and 42 gal of fuel, 700 feet off of hard surface, and your gone. I've landed in as little as 150 feet, which came with a backache, but a reusable Aircraft nonetheless.
Never flown a Super Cub or a Husky so I can't comment on them. This I do know, I wish I still had my M4, and I will own another Maule, someday.
