Thank you for your thoughtful well written reply, you are a gentleman and a scholar. You must be an absolute delight to fly with.

I must admit I quake in your wisdom, total mastery of all knowledge and quick and witty repertoire. (Well, one might omit the witty part.)

Tell me, as you who is ever alway so correct and never in error, how on earth do you keep from developing a tremendous ego?

Happy trails to he who is all wise and knowing.

(edited to add: Oh my, 2,000,000 hours of flying time, now I'm really impressed. I was just merely totally overwhelmed before.)

PS. Are you familiar with the term 'wanker'?

You touched a nerve ... not because of your post, but your complete lack of common sence WRT to the subject matter at hand ...

That is people who do not smoke health is directly affected by its consequences.

The rest of it I could care less.

Still makes you a Shmuk. (That is foul langage in Yiddish)

I will pile on and add I am happy that Marriott has chosen to limit my exposure to other people's stupid choices.

Really, anyone that smokes in this day and age must be using some seriously twisted logic to convince themselves that they are not making an utterly stupid choice.

I certainly have no desire to stand between someone and their right to slow self-destuction. Just do not inflict me with the by-products of your bad decision making.

The real problem with smoking is: it just doesn't kill people fast enough.

All this whining about other people's "nasty byproducts" coming from those who (once they smugly leave their soon-to-be pristine, smoke-free hotels) create gobs of noise and atmospheric pollution every time they hit the start button and commence burning fossil fuels in combustion/turbine engines that has to be endured by others not willingly participating in your activity?

So I guess we can add "hypocrytical" to "santimounious".

I Love It Cat!!!

I'm just saying it was witty, not that I am on one side or the other of this conversation.
